Tommy Robinson
What are people's views on him? I have found myself watching more and more of his videos. Seems to talk slot of sense but was shouted down by Piers yesterday. Doesn't seem to be the sense EDL leader anymore.

Re: Tommy Robinson
Got about a paragraph in and came out, having seen a march against hate described as comprising ‘2000 yobs’.

I dare say the author won’t be describing today’s marches as being full of ‘yobs’. Disgusting, to be honest.

Yet more evidence, if it were needed, of the left’s hatred of the indigenous working class.

As for Robinson, he’s too emotional for me, gets riled too easily. His attempts to encourage any sort of discourse that is so readily shut down by the left get lost in that, so he’s easy to dismiss.

Not keen on him but I am amused by the way the LIBTARDS get wound up by him.

I'd happily welcome the apocalypse before I relied upon anything either Tommy Robinson or Piers Morgan had to say about the price of beans, let alone global society.

Re: Tommy Robinson
having not taken any notice of this bloke he seemed to be popping up everywhere after the manchester bombings so I thought I'd have a look at him and see what he was all about and I came to the same conclussion as stewie

the right sentiment is there but his background and past activities are hampering him being taken seriously

Re: Tommy Robinson
Cant say i agree with all of his views but im the same as the OP in that i find myself watching more and more of his videos and views and alot of time you can't really argue against them

He is sort of turning round this year and saying 'I told you so'

Re: Tommy Robinson
as per below, he lets his passion/anger get the better of him and then gets led away from the point of the discussion.
he was doing well against Piers until Morgan started about his past............ he should have just held his hands up to the mistakes and pulled the convo back onto more relevant matters.

what he said about the Mosque in Manchester was spot on.

I didn't mind him until he started wanking off over Saudi loving Trump.

Have listed to him on a few occasions and fundamentally disagree with everything he spouts.

Quite why anyone would take the assumed name of a football fucking hooligan is beyond me?

Re: Tommy Robinson
I saw a clip of him being told by the police to leave Cambridge or be arrested. He complained how he was with his kids and they were getting scared.

I only say to him, if he reads WHO, if you are going to take on the establishment, best not to have any kids or loved ones at all, because they will be your weak spot. If you worry about them, it's a dangerous game being a rebel against our masters.

Last I remember of this bloke he'd joined that Quilliam (sp?) think tank - I take it that didn't work out?

Re: Tommy Robinson
There is actually not a great deal of difference between what he says, and what Sam Harris says.

However, Harris is a highly educated, middle class man from LA in a country that has genuine free speech. Robinson is a working class man from Luton, in a country which likes to pick and choose what can openly be discussed.

Have a look on YouTube at the gimp that is Ben Affleck accusing Harris of being racist, and also check out Richard Dawkins views on it.

Re: Tommy Robinson
Talks a lot of sense. Especially the Oxford Union speech.
There is a growing sense that anything seen as anti-left, anti-terrorist is somehow "ignorant" bile which shouldnt be debated. Luton has been decimated by mulkticulturalism and hes just reflecting that.

Another great speech from Brendan O'Neill highlights the same modern problem with free speech.

Absolute pile of shit. I should have expected such as I've read a few absolute garbage articles on that site.

I read that article Alex and it is an attempt to destroy someone that speaks the truth. Same as Piers Morgan trying to shut him down by calling him a "bigoted lunatic". Robinson might have been a bigot but his current argument is absolute truth.

The Quran has over 100 verses that incites hatred and death to non-Muslims. To be Islamophobic is to have an irrational fear of Islam. To be Islam wary is entirely sensible. The religion of Islam preaches death to most of you on here...

You're the nutter if you pretend Islam is not a danger to you...

A bit of an Angry Frank who apparently believed Obama is a secret Muslim.

He has a point on some issues but there are people out there with far more credibility and understanding of the situation who anyone with an ounce of sense would go to first. I think he's gone back to rabble rousing after failing to be taken seriously.
